In Memory of Vicky Stone

IMG_1597.jpeg

Rose-an-Hale Reserve was created in memory of Vicky Stone, an acclaimed wildlife filmmaker whose work revealed the intricacies of the natural world and told its stories to a global audience.

Look here for Radio 4’s Last Word and the Sunday Times Obituary.

Vicky loved the natural world and, together with  her husband, Mark, dedicated her life to conveying its intrigue and wonder to others  -  Deeble & Stone

Although Vicky worked in East Africa for 40 years, the Rose-an-Hale cliffs were her home.

The reserve is dedicated to her love of life, her passion, and her determination to leave this world a better place.

Rose-an-Hale is intended as a living memorial - a place Vicky loved deeply and which fed her soul.
